This Western Australian native is typically found as a more of a shrub but can grow to 8 metres in height.

Ashby’s Banksia has smooth, grey bark with serrated leaves growing up to 30cm long and 4 cm wide.

Typically in Spring or Autumn, the bright orange flower spikes can be found. These can be as long as 15cm and 8cm round in diameter.
