Eucalyptus astringens, commonly known as Brown Mallet is a tree that is endemic to the South West region of Western Australia.

The tree typically grows to a height of 15 metres tall.

White cream to yellow flowers bloom from August to December.

This Eucalyptus has been introduced to Victoria and has become naturalised in Bacchus Marsh, north of Melbourne where it had been used to stabilise soils.
