This Western Australian native is usually found along coastal areas, growing up to 10 metres in height but normally 5-6m.
Redheart flowers are creamy white and can be seen from August to January.
The bark on this Eucalyptus is a rough grey/brown, but can be flaky at times, revealing a smooth pinkish bark underneath.
Botanist Stephen Endlicher first described the Eucalyptus decipiens in 1837.
