The Willow Myrtle is a small to medium sized tree growing up to 7 metres in height. The striking dark burgundy weeping leaves are aromatic when crushed. White clusters of flowers appear in spring time and need little water.
Performs best in a well-drained, moist soil in a full-sun position. Hardy to coastal conditions and a good tree for providing coverage from coastal winds.
Suitable for use as a street tree, feature tree, and in water saving gardens.
